my little pig

Obviously I love my bully madly... but today when I went home at lunch, my husband said that he thinks that I am just her whole world and that she is more excited to see me than anything else.  It pretty much made my day.  I love my Pig and she loves her mama. :)  There is nothing like the happy snort and butt wiggle that greets me every morning, every day that I go home for lunch and each night when I get home!

Our new family member...

Jerod and I have wanted a bulldog for what seems like forever.  Jerod has worked so hard to and was pretty eager to sell some of his coveted collection to get her.  Yes, bullies are expensive... and while some would not spend that kind of money for a companion, our love for them outweighs that.  We are so excited with getting to choose and getting to see her grow.  We are really happy that the breeder that we chose is so friendly and open, and they post and send pictures of her.  It's been a great experience.  We have chosen the name Ripley for her (named after the movie Alien).



While we know that we have the puppy phase to work through, we are ready this time :)  she is a beautiful addition to our family.  Next Friday will be a great day!
